Memberships

A cannabis loyalty programme your cashier runs in one tap.

Points, tiers and benefits that live in the system instead of in a notebook under the counter. The cashier finds the member by card, phone number or name, attaches them to the sale, and carries on serving.

  • Points earned on every sale, on rules you set once
  • Tiers and benefits that follow the member to any branch
  • Sign someone up at the till in seconds, queue and all
  • Points redeemed against a purchase at the counter

At the counter

Find the member before the queue notices

Regulars forget their card. They also do not enjoy spelling a surname while four people wait behind them. So there are three ways into the same record.

By card

The member hands over their card, the cashier scans it, and the sale knows who it belongs to. No typing, no spelling.

By phone number

The number everyone knows by heart. The customer says it, the cashier types it, and the right record comes up.

By name

Start typing and the matches narrow as you go, which is how the person you have served every Friday for a year gets found.

What comes with them

The member lands on the sale, and so does everything about them.

Attaching a member is not just a name on a receipt. Their tier comes with them, the benefits attached to that tier apply to the basket, and the points the purchase is about to earn are worked out on the spot.

The cashier does not have to remember any of it. No mental arithmetic, no list of who gets what taped to the wall, and no argument at the counter about a discount somebody thinks they are owed. The till already knows, and it is the same answer in every branch you run.

  • Tier applied automatically, so the benefit lands without anyone being asked to be generous.
  • Points shown on the sale, so the customer can see what this basket is earning them.
  • Redeem in the same flow, taking the balance off the total before payment is taken.
  • Works with the customer display, so they watch their own points move rather than taking your word for it.

Sign them up mid-sale

A new member is created at the till from a name and a phone number. It takes seconds, and the queue does not notice.

The first basket already counts

They are attached to the sale they are standing there paying for, so the purchase that convinced them earns its points.

Next time, no card needed

From the second visit onwards the phone number or the name is enough to find them again.

Points come off when they ask

Redeeming happens at the counter against the purchase in front of you, with the new balance correct for the next visit.

Tiers

Spend more, move up, without anyone keeping a list.

You set the thresholds and what each tier is worth. The till works out where a member sits from what they have actually spent, and the cashier sees the tier on the sale rather than having to remember who is who.

Drag the slider and watch a member move. The thresholds here are an example; yours are whatever you decide.

Set once, applied everywhere

The rules live in the console, not in the cashier's head.

Points rates, tiers and the benefits attached to each tier are set up once in the console. Change a rule on a Monday and every till in every branch is working to the new one, along with the online store we build for you, which shares the same customers and the same club.

The customer list is also where the club stops being a guess. You can see who has joined, what tier they have reached and what they have actually bought, which is a far better guide to what to stock than a feeling about what is popular.

Why bother

A club is worth running only if the counter can keep up with it.

Most loyalty schemes die at the till. The card is in the other wallet, the cashier cannot find the record, the person behind is sighing, and the member walks out having earned nothing. Do that three times and the customer stops mentioning it, which is the moment the scheme is over.

CannyPos treats speed as the whole point. One tap to attach, seconds to sign up, and the benefit applied without a decision being made by a nineteen-year-old under pressure. That is what turns a discount into a reason to come back to you instead of the shop down the road.

Points per sale

Earned on the value of the basket, on the rate you choose, and visible on the sale as it is rung up.

Tiers

Reward the customer who comes back every week differently to the one who came in once. The till sorts out which is which.

Benefits

Attach what each tier gets, set it once, and let it apply itself at every counter you own.

Redeeming

Points come off a purchase in front of the customer, so the reward is felt at the moment it is given.

Questions

What owners ask about the club

How does a cashier attach a member without slowing the queue?

One tap. The cashier finds the member by membership card, phone number or name, and the tier, benefits and points all come with them onto the sale.

Can someone join the club at the till?

Yes. A sign-up takes seconds at the counter and the new member is attached to the sale they are standing there paying for, so their first purchase already earns.

Can points be spent against a purchase?

Yes. Points are redeemed against a purchase at the till, the balance comes off the total in front of the customer, and the new balance is right for their next visit.

Do the rules apply at every branch and online?

Yes. Points rates, tiers and benefits are set once in the console and applied everywhere, including the online store we build for you, so a member is the same member wherever they shop.
